Users can access a variety of services using their internal office network (LAN), a dial up link (PSTN or ISDN), or a GSM mobile phone that is enabled for data operation.

Our whole thrust is to empower the mobile worker, by letting them be as productive as possible - by putting information at their fingertips, wherever they are working. Applications range from medical personnel (e.g., nurses or health visitors) to engineers (e.g., on an emergency repair call, or to perform routine maintenance); from data gathers (e.g., meter readers, census takers) to logistics (e.g., vehicle tracking, travel information into cabs); from salespeople (e.g., doorstep payments for goods delivered, real-time status of goods on order) to cross-company data sharing (e.g., collaborative developments, government-sponsored progress tracking).
